Complete Mechanical, Inc., would like to remind our customers of upcoming changes to Puget Sound Residential Rebate Programs. Some of their programs are being discontinued as of January 1, 2016, some are being changed and some new programs are being enacted. Puget Sound Energy customers can go to PSE Residential Rebate Program page for particular information.
We would like to offer a quick overview of those programs, however. On the discontinued list is the Water, Heat, Electric with a storage water heater as incentive, and the old weatherization, gas and electric with double-paned windows as incentive. There will be five new measures that focus on weatherization and fuel conversion to natural gas. Four measures will remain in place: weatherization with prescriptive duct sealing and insulation, and with a single paned window as incentive; and the heating electric, with a qualification change, as well as heating-gas with a rebate amount change. These are all mail-in rebate offers that can save a tidy sum for home-owners who are up-grading or renovating their heating systems. If you are finishing up a renovation that was started before January first, it must be complete by January 31st, and submit the paperwork PSE no later than February 29. If you are planning to take advantage of a 2016 program, installation must take place after January first, 2016.
We, here at Complete Mechanical, Inc., just wanted to remind customers of Puget Sound Upcoming Rebate changes. If you have HVAC improvements in mind, be sure to call us at (206)337-2360 to set up an appointment to discuss your installation. We are always happy to help our customers save a little money while, at the same time, improving their heating or cooling system or indoor air quality at home.
