Federal Income Tax Credits for Qualified Energy Improvements

Federal Income Tax Credits for Qualified Energy ImprovementsComplete Mechanical, Inc., would like to remind our customers, friends, neighbors and anyone else willing to listen that it is not too soon to start planning your 2016 Income Tax management. The new Federal Income Tax Credits for qualified energy improvements have been published, and they could be of interest to anyone who is trying to improve their home heating and cooling situation.

If you own or are in the process of buying a home, you might qualify for Federal Energy Credits. Processes that can qualify include: biomass stoves, air source heat pumps, central air conditioning, gas, propane or oil furnaces, insulation, roofs, water heaters (non-solar) and windows, doors & skylights. We can’t help you with all of those things, but we can help with heat pumps, central air, gas, propane or oil furnaces, water heaters, and maybe a few other things as well – including geothermal heat pumps. While it might be a little out of our purview, it should be noted that there is a thirty percent solar energy rebate available through December 31, 2019. If you live in an area that gets plenty of sun, that could be your answer to chillin’ in the air conditioning without getting hot under the collar over your newest electric bill.

If you are thinking of upgrading your HVAC system, give Complete Mechanical, Inc. a call at (206)337-2360. We love the process of installing more energy efficient systems, and will be happy to help with your home improvements. The Federal Income Tax Credits for qualified energy improvements are very exciting for home owners and for HVAC installers. We are eager to get to work making our world a better place through increased energy efficiency – one installation at a time.
